Private Spaces, Sharing and Presets Profiles

Somme big updates in our December release bringing you private dashboard spaces, the ability to share those dashboards later with everyone or just a selected few, and the ability to define your own threshold profiles.

Private Dashboards and Sharing

Dashboards and charts have role based access control. The access control is inspired by Google docs and its access control model.

Upon creating a new chart or dashboard the visibility can be set to private or to include everyone in the workspace.

More fine grained access control can be applied in the individual chart and dashboard settings. This includes sharing with individual team members and allowing them Viewer or Editor access.

Favourite Dashboards and New Sidebar

The dashboard and charts overview pages show the access control settings for each of your dashboards. You can also star favourites and list them on top of your dashboard pages.

You can also directly star a dashboard or change its access control with a button on top of each individual dashboard.

Your favourite dashboards will now also be automatically added to a new section in the side bar. This give you quick access to your preferred custom dashboards.

Preset Profiles

Logilica has a range of custom built-in thresholds to signify good engineering practices based on global benchmark data. However, each company is different and even each team might have different goals and objectives.

Logilica supports Preset Profiles now. Each profile can be an individual configuration of thresholds and goals. The presets can be defined in the Settings section.

The preset editor gives you the choice to accept the current default values or override them with your own individual or team targets. You can save them under different names for having different "lenses" for different views.

The presets can be applied through the system default settings or through the Action menu on a dashboard. Once selected a profile will "stick" until it is changed explicitly.
